This program empowers volunteers to aid in conserving the avian biodiversity of Bagek Kembar Mangrove Ecotourism. Participants will engage in teaching birdwatching techniques and raising awareness of the importance of preserving bird habitats. By joining, volunteers will equip the community with essential conservation skills, ensuring a sustainable future.
The program combines hands-on learning with structured conservation education, focusing on bird identification, habitat analysis, and community involvement. Volunteers collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen eco-tourism and biodiversity conservation in the area, creating lasting impact.
Volunteers are responsible for arranging their own transportation from Lombok International Airport to Bagek Kembar Mangrove Ecotourism. Upon arrival, they will be welcomed and provided with an orientation to introduce their roles, daily schedules, local cultural norms, and the conservation goals of the program.
This program runs year-round, but the peak of migrant bird session occurs during January – April, requiring a minimum two-week commitment. Customized schedules can be arranged to suit volunteers’ preferences and availability.
