Typical day

  • Morning: Visit project sites and observe local activities alongside NGO field teams.
  • Midday: Break for lunch and regroup at your homestay or field base.
  • Afternoon: Draft proposals, update donor contacts, and attend feedback sessions with NGO staff.
  • Evening (Optional): Participate in community discussions or brainstorm campaign ideas with the local team.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English or Intermediate French.
  • Experience in grant writing, donor outreach, or crowdfunding.
  • Age 25–45; solo volunteers only.
  • Respect for and adaptability to local culture and Muslim customs.
  • Valid travel insurance and passport from outside Indonesia (EU/US citizens preferred).
  • Must complete a volunteer introduction video prior to acceptance.

Volunteers must arrange their own transport from Lombok International Airport to the local village. Upon arrival, orientation will be provided, covering the NGO’s mission, project background, work expectations, and local customs.

This program is available year-round. A minimum commitment of 2 weeks is encouraged to maximize fundraising potential and project continuity.
